Thebes

LowellArts! supports theatre opportunities for youth and adults through classes for youth and through support for the Thebes Players, a community theatre group that produces and presents 3 theatrical productions each year including a production with youth actors.   The goal of the Thebes Players is to provide opportunities for novices and professionals to work together to present theatre to all age groups.  All participants of the Thebes Players are volunteers with the Director and Stage Manager receiving a paid honorarium at the conclusion of each performance’s run.  LowellArts! supports the Thebes Players through financial management (advertisers, season subscribers, business sponsors, general public and school ticket sales), facility management (locating and reserving appropriate facilities for auditions, rehearsals and performances), marketing (website presence, e-news promotion, design of graphics and posters, news media public relations), and playbill design and printing.
